
Danielle Chaplick
Practice Leader, Public Sector (New England)
Danielle Chaplick has held numerous leadership roles within the healthcare industry, from state government to the pharmaceutical industry to consulting. Danielle is responsible for overseeing a book of clients as well as developing new business opportunities within the New England region for Hilb Group. She previously held positions at both Gallagher and Marsh McLennan Agency, where she primarily focused on building the public sector business for the Northeast region. In both roles, she served as a strategic consultant to numerous clients across both the public and private sectors.Danielle also worked previously at the Massachusetts Group Insurance Commission (GIC), the largest group purchaser of benefits in New England, covering nearly 500,000 lives. She managed all operational, administrative, and policy-related aspects for several high-performing insurance programs, including behavioral health, dental, vision, and group life. As part of this role, Danielle also led the Massachusetts Municipal Health Reform for municipalities across Massachusetts seeking to join the GIC for health insurance benefits under the parameters of the Municipal Partnership Acts to achieve financial savings.
Danielle is a huge proponent of expanding data analytics and population health programs to better manage costs and improve member outcomes in the long term. Through her roles, she has facilitated thought leadership and collaboration across all stakeholders within the municipal market.
